Designing a model of Psychological Well – Being According to psychological capital

Promoting psychological well-being is one of the important tasks of the officials of the educational system and one of the influential concepts in this field is psychological capital.

The present study aimed to design a model of psychological well -being according to psychological capital.

The purpose of present research was to investigate the prediction of psychological well-being model based on the psychological capital .

Descriptive mythology with descriptive-correlational type and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used in this research. Statistical population consisted of all education employees in Tehran working in the academic years of 2018-2019 . The sample consisted of 610 people were selected through multivariate regression analysis in SEM.Tools: The present research instruments are: Psychological Wellbeing Questionnaire of Ryff & Keyes (1995), Psychological Capital Scale of Luthans and Avolio (2007). Data analysis was done using SEM and Amos Software.

The obtained results showed that the research model fit indicators were reliable and the proposed model had an optimal fit.

Results showed that psychological capital could predict psychological well-being. So it can be with the right plans for strengthen psychological capital, upgraded the level of psychological well-being of people.
