Effect of Globalization on Place's Identities

Trend toward the globalization are crossing the political borders and cultural boundaries of the countries increasingly then with unpredictable turns have made an impression on international relations and world cultural, economic, and political classifications. Furthermore, the deep aptitude and emotional feelings have always existed among human beings about their territories. This fact inspired human beings to act always toward dissociation of people and groups and also parting and networking their own living territories and lands.   Globalization provides human beings with means to have an access to the various resources of identity such as local identity; this access conduces to good view toward past identity resources, identity crisis and formation of identical portraits, respectively. This revolution may appear in the guise of opportunity to deepen our self-knowledge and it may appear in the guise of threat to trap us by self-alienation. This article from the political geography point of view is an attempt went toward the definition and interpretation for globalization interactions and local identity revolution in Iran. By this definition, it has been tried to introduce approaches to the optimal management of local identity in the globalization age.
