Managers of Modern Society and Facing the Challenges of Professional Ethics (Case Study: Gorgan Schools)
The present study was conducted with the aim of managers of modern society and facing the challenges of professional ethics (Case study: Gorgan schools).
The research method was applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of method. The statistical population of the study included all high school principals in the first and second years of Gorgan in the academic year of 1997-98 to 256 people, according to Cochranchr('39')s formula, 153 people were selected by multi-stage cluster sampling. The measurement tool included a researcher-made questionnaire, the construct validity of which was confirmed by factor analysis method and its reliability was confirmed by Cronbachchr('39')s alpha coefficient. In order to analyze the data, Kolmogorov-Smirnov K-S test was used to normalize the research variables and to answer the research questions, regression analysis and structural equations were used using SPSS22 and LISREL software.
The findings showed that managers have the ability to predict the challenges of professional ethics and 65.3% of the variance variance of professional ethics challenges is determined by the role of managers. Also, 69% of principalschr('39') perceptions of professional ethics challenges in schools include nine dimensions: 1- law-orientation, 2- ethics-orientation, 3- knowledge-orientation, 4- leadership-behavior, 5- committed responsibility, 6- competitiveness, 7 - Development is central - 8 - Constructivist authoritarianism, 9 - Foresight.
The results showed that there is a positive and significant effect between the perception of principals and the development of professional ethics in schools.
