Religious bases of dutifulness and responsibility in educational system

Background and Objective:

 Relationship originates responsibility and establishes rights and duties. Although, social relations are the most prominent instance of substantiating responsibility, but its extensiveness includes all relations with Allah, self, animate and inanimate beings, the environment, etc. Here we aimed at explaining responsibility within a religious culture and pointing out the importance of faculties' role in development of trainees' true responsibility.

Method:

 In this descriptive- analytic study we have tried to present a comprehensive view of responsibility using Islamic resources –Quran and Nahj-Al-Balagheh, etc. Moreover, we have sketch the quality of reinforcement of an Islamic view regarding responsibility within an academic education and training system.

Results:

 In Islamic culture being responsible rooted in a proper and monotheistic knowing of responsibilities. In this view, responsibility considers an inherent characteristic of the cosmos. In this culture, human beings considered responsible and then accountable toward their doings, willing, etc. for their specific characteristics of freedom and intellect. Educational and training structures consider pillars of transferring religious values to the next generations. Faculties are the main elements of value transferring to the youths. therefore,their responsible thoughts, functions, behaviors and deeds as role models could help interiorizing of this basic element to the trainees.

Conclusion :

Determining religious indexes and instances of responsibility, assessment of the current status of responsibility regarding knowledge, skill, programs and structures, holding purposive workshops, supervising role model characteristics of the faculties and assessment of the trainees' abilities regarding religious elements of responsibility are proposed to be followed.
