The role of law enforcement media activities in the social prevention of crime

The aim of this study was to identify the role of media activities of law enforcement in social crime prevention. According to the purpose, the present study is one of the applied researches and according to the method of data collection, this research is a type of field research and social survey and in terms of analysis, the present study is descriptive-analytical. The statistical population of this study includes 220 citizens of Semnan. The research tool is a researcher-made questionnaire. The results showed that each unit of change in education can carry 19.5% change in social crime prevention at a significant level of 0.05. Also, each unit of change in the social participation variable can carry 34.4% change in social prevention of crime at a significant level of 0.05. In addition, each unit of change in culture, can be 23.1% change in social prevention of crime at a significant level of 0.05 0. Finally, each unit of change in information can make 41.2% change in social crime prevention at a significant level of 0.05.
