Critical Discourse Analysis of Khosrow Shahani's Short Stories Based on Falkloff's Theory

In the contemporary era, the study and analysis of literary texts and their relation to social and cultural factors have received much attention and one of the effective approaches in literary text analysis is critical discourse analysis. Critical discourse analysis is a kind of interdisciplinary approach that, by analyzing the text, seeks to provide a relatively accurate reading. This paper is a descriptive-analytic study of the content of Khosrow Shahani's short stories based on the theory of critical discourse analysis of Falklaf. The main purpose of this article is to explore the socio-political, cultural, and so on short stories of Khosrow Shahani and to explore how they interact through the use of Falklaw's critical discourse analysis, which many scholars believe is more comprehensive than others. His stories (as text) and society, thus explaining the discourses in this author's stories.
