The Relationship between Emotional Labor Strategies and Non-Task Behaviors
This study aimed to investigate the effect of emotional labor on employees' non-task behaviors, including organizational citizenship behavior and deviant behavior. The statistical population of this study is police forces in Markazi province. Due to limited community size, sampling was not performed and all individuals were selected as samples. Data gathering tools were three standard questionnaires of Deffendorf et al. (2005) and organizational citizenship behavior (Lee and Allen, 2002) and Robinson and Bennett (2000) work deviant behavior. Data were analyzed using SPSS software and correlation coefficient test. The study results showed a negative relationship between Apparent acting behavior strategy and organizational deviant behavior, and there is a positive correlation between deep acting strategy and individual citizenship behavior.
