Investigation and optimal selection of portable temporary shelters for relief accommodation in times of crisis using the colonial competition algorithm

Abstract:

The Islamic Republic of Iran has always faced a variety of natural and man-made hazards, which requires vigilance and careful planning to reduce the consequences. Due to its light weight, high transport and loading capacity, attention to portable shelters has increased in recent years. On the other hand, studying the types of these shelters for use in crises and different climates has a great impact on ease of crisis management, increasing the quality of housing and reducing casualties. In this research, the aim is to study on different types of folding shelters in order to improve the quality of existing shelters and also to improve the transportation and loading capacity. This research is applied in terms of descriptive-analytical nature and library, field and objective studies have been used to collect information. After reviewing the existing shelters using the Colonial Competition Algorithm (ICA) and implementing this algorithm in MATLAB software, one of the types of shelters studied as a model for producing and changing shelters used in time The crisis was introduced. As a result, by producing better shelters, it is possible to accommodate more people in times of crisis, which makes it easier to provide relief and crisis management, as well as improve the living conditions of the victims.
