Anti-Narcotics Disciplinary Strategies (Case Study: Sistan and Baluchestan Disciplinary Command)

Drugs and their illegal consequences have made countries vulnerable and in the form of a problem, threatens their security and communities, so the main purpose of this dissertation is to develop anti-narcotics strategies in the police command of S&B province. .

The present study has a mixed developmental (qualitative-quantitative) research methodology in terms of applied development goal and analytical-survey method. The statistical population of this research in the qualitative part includes experts in the field of counternarcotics who purposefully 18 people were selected. Also in the quantitative part of the questionnaire was distributed among 30 experts in the field of counter-narcotics.

The findings indicate that in the internal environment (strengths) there were no capabilities and capacities for border control, use of the control center and databases, having employees with a spirit of self-sacrifice (weaknesses) of floating forces. Equipment and control systems and insufficient intelligence aristocracy and in the external environment (opportunity points) effective external interactions, support within the organization and drug laboratories (threat points) Expansion of cultivation and production of drugs, incompatibility of judicial rulings and weakness In border control, they were ranked first to third, respectively.

The SWAT matrix indicates the strategy in the current situation is defensive and in the optimal position is offensive, so it should be changed from the defensive to the offensive in the desired position. In prioritizing strategies, so strategy includes "using maximum power". And internal and external capacity of the organization in the first priority and wo strategy with the description of "adapting counter-narcotics methods" in the second priority.
