Presenting a Causal Model of Emotional Regulation Based on Beliefs and Spiritual Intelligence by mediating role of Worry in Tehran Students

The aim of this study was to present a causal model of emotional regulation based on the system of beliefs and spiritual intelligence mediated by areas of concern in students in Tehran.

The research method is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlational in terms of data analysis. The statistical population of the study includes Tehran state universities, which according to the report of the Research and Planning Institute of Higher Education of the Ministry of Science includes a total of 29 universities. In the analysis of structural equations of Tabachink and Fidel (2001), 350 people were selected as the sample. In this study, emotion regulation tools (Garnowski and Craig, 2006), metacognitive beliefs (Wells, 2004), spiritual intelligence (King, 2008) and worry (Pennsylvania, 1990) were used, all of which had acceptable validity and reliability. . The research data were divided into two parts: descriptive (mean, standard deviation and correlation) and inferential (using multivariate analysis of structural equation modeling) with the help of Excel, SPSS and Lisrel software.

The results showed that the causal model of emotion regulation based on the system of beliefs and spiritual intelligence mediated by areas of concern for students in Tehran can be presented.

The results showed that the system of beliefs and spiritual intelligence with the mediation of areas of concern on the regulation of emotion in Tehran students.
