An investigation into alignment between Quranic moral teachings and folk literature of Shahr-e Babak
Morality and moral values are among issues that the Holy Quran pays a lot of attention to. Moral teachings are lessons that teach about good traits and behaviors including justice, kindness, honesty, and discourage them from nasty habits such as lie, betray, oppression, etc. Morality is one of the priorities of today’s world, and plays a decisive role in prosperity of societies; therefore, it is highly necessary to study it. The present study aims to examine moral teaching in folk literature of Shahr-e Babak in order to show that moral teachings are not unrelated to the Holy Quran, but they are retrieved from and in line with Quranic moral teachings
