Investigating the criteria of sustainable housing with emphasis on the social dimension of sustainable development studied in Jolfa neighborhood located in the fifth district of Isfahan

The theory of sustainable development has been considered by urban planners due to its recent effects on the physical, social and economic environment. Because housing is one of the most important issues in the world and of course Iran and According to Maslow's pyramid of needs, it is one of the basic human needs. Assessing the sustainability of housing using the criteria of sustainable development in housing to create and have sustainable housing is necessary. Jolfa neighborhood, located in District 5 of Isfahan Municipality, is one of the neighborhoods where peaceful coexistence between Muslims and Armenians is evident, and the establishment of housing for both groups has strengthened the social dimension of this neighborhood. This neighborhood has also become a destination for tourists and young people from other neighborhoods and parts of the city due to its environmental qualities and historical elements. In this study, we seek to answer the question of how residential environments or neighborhoods can be approached socially sustainable? Therefore, it can be said that the purpose of this study is to examine the social criteria of sustainable development in housing. For this purpose, after defining sustainable development and explaining its dimensions, as well as defining housing and its characteristics, the criteria of social sustainability were identified and finally tried to provide criteria based on social sustainability for housing. As a result, 5 criteria were obtained with the titles of justice, safety, security, social capital and identity and vitality. These criteria were the basis for reviewing the current situation of Jolfa neighborhood and providing suggestions for improving the situation. The research method in this study is based on the purpose of the applied type and based on the descriptive-analytical nature. In order to conduct this research, GIS and SPSS software for maps, statistical analysis and data analysis and SKECH UP software And LUMION was used to design and display 3D executive proposals.In order to collect data, two methods of library-documentary and field methods were used as a questionnaire distribution and the data were based on SWOT evaluation model and variables such as social capital, identity and vitality, security, safety and justice for housing sustainability. Is analyzed. Conclusion from receiving data and analyzing them indicates that according to the SWOT evaluation model and the results obtained from the data of internal and external factors, the average or weighted score of these factors is more than 3, which indicates that the strengths should be Strengthened to reduce threats (ST) and increased opportunities to reduce vulnerabilities to a minimum (WO) and the only effective strategy in this area can be a competitive strategy (SO), ie focus on maximum-maximum (points) Internal strength and external opportunities) that this is an active solution. By increasing strengths and opportunities, the social dimension of housing and population stability in Jolfa neighborhood in District 5 of Isfahan can be strengthened and social interactions and behavior of individuals can be linked to the identity and vitality of the neighborhood. Therefore, according to the results of SWOT analysis, strategies and policies such as: creating an open display platform, open library, material flower arranging by residents and traffic calming and other items were proposed to be implemented in Jolfa neighborhood. These policies were demonstrated using 3D design by SketchUp and Lumion software to make executive proposals more tangible.
