Analyzing the components and process of providing non-governmental public services in Arbaeen walk based on the causal mapping approach
The Arbaeen Walk is one of the manifestations of the provision of public services by people and popular groups. However, in the public service literature in the world, the issue of public participation in public service delivery is questionable. On the other hand, population growth, rising citizen expectations, and the high diversity of services in question have posed many challenges for governments as a major responsibility in this area over the past decades. The purpose of this study is to examine aspects of the process of providing public services in the Arbaeen Walk and to try to introduce the components and the relationships between them. The research method is qualitative and causal mapping method has been used to analyze the data. After studying the library, 18 experts were interviewed. According to the research results, 82 components were obtained. After categorizing the components, a diagram of the service delivery process was drawn. The inner motivation of individuals and their belief in the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH),which has led to the belief in the value of service, has led to the provision of unique services in the Arbaeen walk. Some of the features of the services provided are: voluntary, continuous and regular, with maximum power and tailored to the needs. However, service delivery faces obstacles, such as infrastructure problems. Positive effects and consequences such as strengthening unity and cohesion among Muslims and negative consequences such as environmental issues are among the consequences of the process of providing services on the Arbaeen Walk.
