Abstract:

The issue of addiction and drug use has gone beyond the boundaries of health and treatment and has become a social problem. The rise of drug use over the centuries has been a growing concern for societies. Addiction, as one of the saddest problems of today's societies, is a chronic and recurrent disease whose onset and persistence is affected by the interaction of various genetic, psychological, social and environmental factors. In this study, the underlying factors of drug addiction were identified and anxiety, assertiveness and attachment style in drug addicts and normal people were examined. In the results of the research, with the help of relevant tests, it was clearly proved that the anxiety, courage and attachment style of addicted and normal people are very different from each other.
