Study of genetic and phenotypic diversity of different species and ecotype of Echinochloa crus-galli L.

One of the most important activities in eugenicity and maintaining the genetic resources in plants is recognizing the genetical variation and classification of the resources which are inheritance. In order to study the phenotypic variation of Echinochloa crus-galli L., seeds of 48 species from different regions of Golestan, Gilan, Mazandaran, and Bushehr were collected from rice fields and in a completely randomized design with three replications University of Gonbad-e Qabus were planted. Evaluations consisted of the total weight of panicle, the number of panicle, the main panicle weight, main panicle length, number of secondary branche, the main grain number, total grain weight, plant height, number of leaves, flag leaf length, flag leaf width, weight stems and leaves, flowering date and the number of tiller. According to the results of analysis of variance table all traits were significant at one percent level that reveal the diversity of species of E. crus-galli. In case of assessing genetical variation of 48 genotypes of Echinochloa crus-galli L., and in order to increasing the genetical loci of barley, we used 15 iPBS primers. This study took place in genetic and plant breeding laboratory of agricultural faculty of Gonbad Kavous University. From the 85 allels which were observed for all varieties, 40 pieces of them were polymorphism. The identified polymorphism allels observed by every primer, were 1 to 5 diverse allels (in average 62.66 allels for every section).
