The examination of Citizens’ satisfaction with the performance of municipal services and socio-economic factors associated with it Nagadeh city

Abstract:

In this study citizens’ satisfaction with the municipal performance and social and economic factors related to it have been identified. The research method is combined (survey and documentation and ...) and a questionnaire was used to collect data among the head of 381 household that were selected by cluster sampling (consistent with the selected volume). The results indicate that the rate of citizens’ satisfaction with the performance of the municipal is in lower level and below it. Citizens’ satisfaction was effected by factors such as social consent, social trust, social participation, economic and social base and expectations. The data were analyzed using both inferential and descriptive statistics. In descriptive part frequency tables and figures relating to the variables were measured. In inferential part the relationship between variables were examined using Pearson correlation, t-test, and analysis of variance. Meanwhile the variables of social trust and social consent have the highest and lowest share in explaining the dependent variable.
