The Study of the relationship between social capital and job satisfactionof faculty members in higher education centers of Maragheh
This study investigates the relationship between social capital and job satisfaction of faculty members in higher education centers of Maragheh city. It is tried to answer such questions in this study as: how much social capital is there among faculty members in these centers? What is the satisfaction level of faculty members in these centers? What factors contribute to faculty members' the social capital in these centers? Finally, which one of the different aspects of social capital are the most effective in job satisfaction of faculty members in higher education centers? In this study, the dimensions of social capital as predictive variables are: social trust, social participation, organizational commitment and social dedication, and job satisfaction as the criterion variable (dependent) with five parameters discusses the type of work, management of organization, cooperation of colleagues, enhancement and promotion of the rights and benefits. The research method is the survey and the data collected through a questionnaire. The population of the study included all faculty members working in higher education centers in the city of Maragheh in the academic year of 2012-2013 who are 221. The sample size of 140 people was calculated according to Cochran formula and correlation, variance and regression used to the analysis of data. Results of the regression analysis showed the confirmation of the main hypotheses and sub-hypotheses. In fact, it can be stated that social capital and job satisfaction among faculty members in higher education centers in the city ofMaragheh, there are related.
