Construction and Validation of a Jealousy Questionnaire Based on Islamic Sources

The aim of this study was to construct a jealousy questionnaire based on Islamic theoretical foundations. To study the Islamic sources following content analysis method and to evaluate the validity of the questionnaire following the survey method by random selection, a sample of 100 scholars and students of religious sciences of Imam Khomeini Educational and Research Institute in the academic year 1397-1396 Were exploited. The structure derived from Islamic sources for zeal includes the components of insight, emotional, behavioral, communicative and sexual. The content validity of this structure was calculated by the experts of religion and psychology according to the Likert structure of four options with a total average of 3.0 and a variance of 0.564 and the validity of the items was obtained with an average of 2.875 and Kendall's coordination coefficient at 99% confidence level. The high correlation between the components with the whole test was also between the items indicating the construct validity. The validity of the test was obtained by examining the internal consistency of the questionnaire with Cronbach's alpha coefficient at the level of 0.87. The two semi-constructions also have a credit of / 799. And 637 /. Showed for two halves, so this questionnaire has good validity and validity. As a result, the Jealousy Questionnaire can be used as a valid and scientific tool in Islamic research and quantification.
