Investigating Solutions for Increasing Productivity in Urban Services and Municipalities

One of the key issues in urban management and municipalities is the foundations of productivity in urban services. The topic that has been discussed in the industry sector is not considered in the service sector, especially in municipalities. This topic has been considered by the Ministry of the Interior and one of the study projects of the Center for Urban Planning Studies of the Ministry of the Interior in 2001was devoted to developing ways to improve urban productivity. In this design, after defining productivity indicators, productivity enhancing practices have also been discussed that can be used to determine future policies and decisions in different urban areas. The municipality as a service institution and in fact one of the front-line organizations of the citizen's services is expected to increase its productivity by providing services to citizens in different sectors, especially urban services .
