The role of government against child abuse in Iranian case law
One of the most important factors in the incidence of child abuse can be seen in the poor performance of the government. In the present study, the role of the government in creating and intensifying the phenomenon of child abuse has been studied by descriptive-analytical method. The main question of the present study is what measures can the government take to reduce the phenomenon of child abuse? The results of the present study indicate that the government, by performing some behaviors and also by abandoning some behaviors such as negligence in addressing the phenomenon of child abuse, adopting policies that aggravate child abuse, the legitimacy of child abuse behaviors, conscious refusal to intervene Some aspects of child abuse include entering the cycle of child abuse behaviors that cause or exacerbate child abuse. The government can take measures such as education and transparent and comprehensive information in areas related to children, prepare and regulate a comprehensive system to prevent child abuse, develop policies and programs related to the situation of children at risk, support victimization Prevent child abuse. Also, given that enacted laws play an important role in creating or perpetuating wrong attitudes and orientations, laws should not contain inhuman teachings and data that violate human rights rules, which should also be considered by the legislature. .
