A review and critique of Amir Moazi's views on Mahdism
Shiism in the West flourished in the years after the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, and many works were written about it. This trend is more evident in the works of Professor Henry Corban and his students, including Dr. Mohammad Ali Amir Moazi. Dr. Moezzi's work is one of the few works that reconstructed specific and lesser-known aspects of Shiism based on early Shiite texts (from the 4th century AH onwards), which were welcomed by Western society. His special views on public Imamate (mystical aspects and esoteric Imamate) and special Imamate on the subject of Mahdism (waiting, absence, return and signs of reappearance) are the focus of discussion in this article, which in some cases needs to be studied, analyzed and carefully considered
