Criminal Responsibility of Governments for Environmental Crime in the Light of Regional and International Cooperations

Today, environmental protection is very important because the biosphere system depends on this protection and effective support. In this regard, any disregard for this matter may turn out to be a minor dimensional risk in an irreplaceable dimension. Therefore, environmental protection is possible through international cooperation and interactions. In the light of this cooperation and in view of the transboundary nature of environmental damage, any obvious breach of international responsibility of the country and governments must be taken into account. Hence, according to the existing treaties and common rules, effective measures should be taken to inspire international criminal responsibility for environmental crime. Hence, adherence to the provisions of the International Responsibility Plan for Governments, as well as the clarification of the restitution dimensions of Article19, is one of the most important issues that have been addressed in this study. In this regard, with the aim of identifying the nature and extent of international environmental crime, we are going to explain how to Regional and International Cooperation in Encouraging Criminal Responsibility of Governments in Respect of Environmental Crimes.
