Sociological study of the relationship between social capital and social security (Case Study: Youth 18-25 years old in Tabriz)

The sense of social security is one of the human needs that is posed at different levels of individual and social. Various factors are important in this regard, one of which is social capital and its dimensions. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between social capital and social security. The research method is the population of the population of 18-25 years old in Tabriz, which is selected by using the Cochran formula and multi-stage cluster sampling method of 300 individuals. Findings indicate that there is a meaningful relationship between social capital and its dimensions and social security feeling among the youth of Tabriz city. Findings also indicate that the level of social security sensitivity is not different from the gender variable, but varies according to the location of the place of residence. The results of regression analysis show that among the independent variables studied, the variables of social trust and social empathy in the total of 34 percent of changes in the sense of social security are explained by these two variables.
