A Model of Predicting the intensity of single-vehicle accidents in various weather conditions (Case study: Ahar-Tabriz road)
There are many different reasons behind accidents whose identifications may not be possible. However, identifying some of these reasons which play a more important role in accidents is possible through research. This research evaluates and examines the intensity of single-vehicle accidents under different weather conditions. Data were collected from the accidents happened on Ahar-Tabriz road during 1388 to 1392. In the final model, four independent variables were drawn: temperature below -7 degrees, wind speed, workday versus non-workday, and gender.
