The effect of social and communication skills training on reducing adolescent suicide
The goal of this research was to determine the influence of social and communication skills training on high-risk behaviors, including suicide, among male teenagers in Kerman over the years 1399-1400. The study is quantitative and survey in nature. The statistical population for this study was male teenagers incarcerated at Kerman Correctional Center, a total of 43 individuals who were examined utilizing a quasi-sampling approach in conjunction with a quasi-experimental research method. All individuals completed a questionnaire assessing high-risk behaviors, and after teaching social and communication skills to the experimental group of 22, a post-test was administered. The Mankova index was used to examine the data with SPSS 21 software. The hypothesis test revealed that social and communication skills training was beneficial in preventing suicide among teenagers at Kerman Correctional Center, with a ratio of F equal to 11.69 with a 95% confidence interval.
