Abstract:

This paper presents the boundaries for the energy of a graph. These boundaries include upper and lower bounds. The discussion of the boundaries will determine the energy function of a tree and its relation to the energy of the star and path graphs. Finally, a conjecture is obtained about the maximum energy of unicyclic graphs.
