Adherence rate of contemporary Persian translations in translation of the Difficult Combinations of the Holy Qur'an; the case study: "ā rāyt" and it's derivatives
The word "ārāyt" and It's derivatives are one of the most difficult Combinations of the Holy Qur'an Syntactically, For this reason, it is difficult to translate it into other languages, including Persian.This research is aimed at analysis and evaluation of some of the contemporary Persian translations of the Holy Quran in terms of their translating verses that including "ārāyt" and it's derivatives Based on Syntactic and rhetorical criteria. These translations are Elahi Ghomshei, Rezae Esfahani, Sharani, Safavi, Saffarzadeh, Fouladvand, Mojtabavi, Meshkini, Mu‘izzi, Makarem.And this result is achieved; most compatible translations with Syntactic and rhetorical criteria are as follows. The first is Safavi translation which is correct in 26 cases, then translations of Sharani and Meshkini which are correct in 22 cases, also Mojtabavi's translation has followed these criteria in 20 cases. And translations by Rezae Esfahani and Mu‘izzi, in the sense that they have not met these criteria in any way, are the most incompatible translations.
