The Relationship Between Coronary Anxiety and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder in Housewives in Isfahan
Today, the coronavirus outbreak has become a major global crisis and has affected many countries, including Iran. One of the consequences of the coronavirus outbreak is the development of anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between coronary anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder in housewives in Isfahan.
The method of the present study was descriptive-correlational. Data collection tools were Maudsley Practical Obsession Questionnaire and Coronavirus Anxiety Scale. The statistical population of this study included housewives in Isfahan. The sampling method was simple random and the sample size was 100 people. Pearson correlation, standard deviation and mean statistical tests were used to analyze the data. It was done using software SPSS-21.
The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between coronary anxiety (psychological symptoms) and obsessive-compulsive disorder at the level (p u003c0.001, r = 0.41) and between coronary anxiety (physical symptoms), with There is a significant positive relationship between obsessive-compulsive disorder at the level (p u003c0.001, r = 0.31).
According to the research findings, coronary anxiety can be effective in the development of obsessive-compulsive disorder in housewives in Isfahan province.
