The Effectiveness of Clinical Education Implementation in Teacher-Training Curriculum on Professional Education of Student Teachers in Kerman University of Farhangian
The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of clinical education on improving the quality of student-teacher performance in the internship process. The research method was quasi-experimental. The statistical population of the study included 160 internship students of 7th and 8th semesters of Teacher Training University of Kerman, Iran. Based on the criteria for entering the intervention, 80 people were selected as a statistical sample and due to the existence of both sexes of girls and boys, the members of the statistical sample using stratified random sampling in two groups of 40 experimental and control were appointed. In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the students of the control group completed their internship for two semesters under the usual internship training program and the students of the experimental group completed their internship for two semesters under the conditions of clinical training. The research tool was a researcher-made test that was used to determine the validity of this test, content validity and to determine the reliability of the difficulty coefficient and clean coefficient method. The results showed that the application of clinical education, increase students' self-confidence to be significantly effective.
