Designing a Model for the Development of Religious Culture with an Emphasis on Reference Groups
Systematic and comprehensive knowledge of the dimensions and components of religious culture is a necessary prerequisite for any practical action in the field of cultural development in societies with a religious background. This research seeks to provide a theoretical model for the development of religious culture. In this study, after posing the problem, the questions and objectives were expressed and then through semi-structured interviews, data were collected up to the stage of theoretical saturation and based on Grounded theory and paradigm model of Strauss and Corbin in three steps of open, axial and selective coding were categorized and analyzed using Nvivo software. In the process of conducting research, 78 initial codes obtained based on the paradigm model of Strauss and Corbin in the main classes of causal conditions (requirements and temporal and spatial developments), class or central phenomenon (dynamics based on ijtihad in religion), strategies or actions (effective institutionalization Religious culture), ruling context or context (moral competencies and social legitimacy), interventionist conditions (opportunities and peripheral threats to the development of religious culture) and consequences (development of structure and function of social system based on religious values) were categorized.
