Abstract:

The aim of the current study is to investigate the relationship between the intellectual capital and knowledge management. The sample population includes the personnel of the police department of the province of Mazandaran, out of which 96 participants were selected by using Cookran sampling method. In order to collect data, Lawson's knowledge management questionnaire and Bontis's intellectual capital were used. For descriptive explanation and data analysis, descriptive statistics was used and to investigate the significance of the research hypotheses, Pearson's correlation test in SPSS software was used. The results of the study show that there is a direct and significant relationship between intellectual capital and knowledge management factors such as gaining knowledge, organizing knowledge, accumulating knowledge, spreading knowledge and its function. There is no significant relationship between intellectual capital and knowledge production.
