Designing Organizational Cultural model of IR Armed Forces Using Grounded Theory Method

The importance of organizational culture and its effect on organization performance are remarkable subjects that in today’s world organizations and researchers devote a large part of their time and budget for them. In organizations whose culture is strong and cohesive, there is a strong commitment to the mission and goals of the organization, also, a high degree of group solidarity and cohesion, which is a positive factor for better organizational performance and effectiveness. Studying and evaluating strategic issued documents by the Supreme Leader of Iran in organizational areas like the general policy of administrative system and sixth improvement plan, you can see organizational culture and human capital management mentioned several times in these documents. Therefore according to the Supreme leader’s emphasis and the need for research in this field, this research is designed and implemented to achieve a paradigmatic organizational culture model of armed forces as a result of Human capital development with grounded theory method. After collecting the documents (Imam Khomeini and Imam Khamenei’s speeches during their governance), those which are official audience of armed forces were separated and the documents were coded (open coding, axial coding, and selective coding). As a result of complementing the grounded theory method, ninety nine sub-categories, twenty six categories, and four dimensions (overarching category) were extracted. The extracted aspects of organizational culture include the Militarism Culture, Social Normative Culture, Transformational Culture, and Resistance Basij Culture.
