The mediating role of job motivation in the relationship between work conscience and productivity of female teachers
The main purpose of this study was to explain the mediating role of job motivation in the relationship between work conscience and productivity of female teachers. The research design was descriptive and correlational. The statistical population of the study consisted of all female teachers in the urban area of Yasuj in 1398. From the statistical population, 252 female teachers were selected and studied by random sampling of multi-stage clusters. Data were collected using job motivation questionnaire, Salonawa and Shuffley questionnaire, Hershey et al.'s productivity, and Costa and McCray's work conscience. After collecting and extracting data, participants' scores were analyzed using Pearson correlation, multiple and multivariate linear regression and macro bootstrap test. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between productivity and job motivation (strength, self-dedication and attraction). There is a significant relationship between job motivation and reliability and success-oriented component. There was a significant relationship between work conscience and its components (reliability and success orientation) with job productivity. The findings also showed that job motivation has a significant mediating role in the relationship between work conscience and productivity of female teachers.
