Designing an Ethics-Based Counseling Process to Manage Couple Conflict Based on Ethical Works of Imam khomeini

Given the importance of family, it is very important to study and localize issues that are effective in strengthening and uplifting Iranian families. Couple conflicts are one of the most pervasive issues and its proper management plays an important role in maintaining the stability and peace of families.

This is a qualitative research and its method is Schleiermacher hermeneutics. The source of analysis (society) in this research is the moral books of Ruhollah Khomeini "explanation of forty hadiths and explanation of the soldiers of reason and ignorance". The analysis unit (sample) is topics, questions and words related to marital conflict.

First, the goals of ethics-based counseling were extracted, which were classified into three categories: apparent, esoteric and common. Goals in the existential order are appearance, awakening, contemplation, determination and maintenance. Goals inwardly are mindfulness, consequentialism, and action. The common goals between the existential levels are also call, success and return. The ethics-based counseling process is designed and presented based on the mentioned goals in twelve steps.
