Agricultural tourism survey focused on rural sustainable development Case Study: Pomegranate village of Qardin – Saveh

Over the past decades, livelihoods have been considered by many villagers as one of the goals of sustainable rural development. One of the main strategies for improving rural economy, agricultural tourism or agro-tourism is the purpose of this study. The study examines the impact of agricultural tourism on rural economy in Saveh. This paper has been conducted using descriptive-survey research method and holding participatory workshops (PRAs), a questionnaire (in accordance with theoretical model and research background) and interviews. The data were collected using Spss software and the statistical population of all residents of Qardin rural (Pomegranate village of Qardin) in Markazi part of Saveh city with a statistical sample based on Cochran formula (184 people). Multi-stage random sampling. The results of Bartlett's test indicated the correlation and suitability of the variables.
