The Crime of Human Trafficking; Conceptual Contraction & Expansion with Emphasis on the International Human Rights System

Human trafficking is one of the most important transnational organized crimes. In fact, the modern face is one of the blackest crimes (slavery), which in addition to significant moral and social effects, is also growing.  This has gradually been associated with conceptual contraction and expansion. The purpose of this article is to study the conceptual developments of the crime of human trafficking over time in light of the international human rights system. The present research is based on descriptive and analytical methods and is based on library documents and resources. The conclusion of the present article is that the conceptual changes of human trafficking from slavery to an organized nature and its human rights in the direction of criminalization as one of the most basic strategies proposed by the UN to member states has been proposed to explain the discourse of Iran's criminal policy in anti-trafficking law. Man will also be possible in the context of international criminal policy through these concepts and considering the contraction and expansion of this crime. On the other hand, the criminalization of human trafficking has a long process that study and research on its origin and conceptual developments and helps to better understand this crime. Despite the adaptation of the Anti-Trafficking Law to the Protocol on the Prevention, Prohibition and Punishment of Trafficking in Human Beings, especially to Women and Children, the Iranian legislature has criminalized this crime regardless of its human rights approach.
