Investigating the effect of information technology mechanisms on organizational agility with the dual role of information technology

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of IT governance mechanisms on organizational agility with the dual role of information technology.

This research is quantitative in terms of application type and in terms of research method is a descriptive-survey research. The statistical population of the research, managers and experts of Tadbir Holding Company is 215 people, 138 people will be selected by stratified random method using Cochran's table. The main data collection tools were the DOSToATI questionnaire of information technology, organizational agility and governance mechanisms of information technology of Gene et al. (2021). Its validity was calculated and confirmed in form and content and its reliability was used using Cronbach's alpha. The obtained data were analyzed using structural equation modeling and Smart PLS software.

Data analysis showed that IT governance mechanisms with an impact factor of 0.899 and a significant value of 24.659 have an effect on information technology duality.

The results showed that different dimensions of IT governance mechanisms affect the exploration and exploitation of information technology in Tadbir Holding and on the other hand, the exploration and exploitation of information technology affect the agility of Tadbir Holding.
