Drug addiction as a psychiatric disorder with biological, psychological, social and spiritual dimensions is one of the problems of the present age.drug use and the phenomenon of addiction it is a chronic and reversible phenomenon that causes serious physical, financial, family and social harm. People who abuse drugs are often unable to cope with their problems and have a low degree of psychological well- being. For this reason many studies have been done in this fild so that treatment methods can be as successful as possible to help infected person and reduce the disease as much as possible.The aim of this study includes the effectiveness of community-wide psychological therapies for addiction treatment. Is rooted. Which includes addicted people. The aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) on psychological well-being in methadone maintenance (MMT) addicts in Shiraz addiction treatment centers. The results of analysis of covariance indicate that treatment with acceptance and commitment therapy based on increases psychological well-being in addicts (P <0.05). The above results show that the treatment based on acceptance is an effective treatment for the recovery of patients with addiction and this method can be used along with other drug methods.
