Youth and Election Campaigns in Iran: A Case Study of the Eleventh and Twelfth Presidential Elections
Analysis of electoral behavior is one of the basic features of electoral sociology that the researcher can provide various models in electoral behavior by studying different elections. In the present study, the aim is to identify and determine the factors affecting the recruitment of young people to the election campaigns of the winning candidate, the presidential elections of the 11th and 12th terms. Accordingly, this research is a descriptive research based on the result and purpose of applied research and also in terms of method, and in terms of data collection from the survey branch. According to the sample size, 384 questionnaires were prepared and given to people who voted for Hassan Rouhani to collect information. Based on the analysis of the data collected using the results of statistical techniques, we concluded that special election programs have played a significant role in youth participation in the eleventh and twelfth presidential elections. ...
