Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), a new method implementation

Integrated Project Delivery, as a new method in implementation of civil project, seeks to improve project outcomes through a collaborative approach of aligning the incentives and goals of the project team through shared risk and reward, collaborative decision making, early involvement of all parties, and a multi-party agreement. but it needs a strong management by the owner. Results of this research will help better understanding of IPD and improves Iran's construction industry by using the benefits of the method. The key goal of IPD is to form a cohesive team, by carefully defining common and interdependent commercial interests and the technical and social means of communication and collaboration. Another important aspect of IPD is its designation of how risks, time, and costs are allocated.
