Social work and quality of life based on the personality characteristics of veterans (a case study of Martyrs and Veterans Foundation services)

Abstract:

The purpose of this article is to investigate the relationship between the amount of benefit of veterans from the services of the Martyr Foundation and Veteran Affairs and the quality of life according to the moderating role of personality traits. The statistical population in this research includes 22,000 veterans of Gilan, nonprobability sampling method is available. Considering that the population under study is of a limited type, Cochran's limited population formula was used to select the sample and the sample size was 300 people. In order to analyze the research data and infer and test the hypotheses, the structural equation model method was used through PLS software. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between health, housing, educational and cultural,sports and recreational services of Shahid Foundation with the quality of life of veterans. Personality characteristics do not moderate the relationship between Shahid Foundation services and the quality of life of martyrs.
