Abstract:
The unique conditions and challenges in the underwater channels make communications in this environment very vulnerable to enemy attacks. The use of bionic signals has become one of the challenges of the underwater acoustic field to make these channels resistant to attack. Therefore, in recent years, the use of biological signals such as dolphin whistles has been proposed to establish covert communications, but this method has been used in noise-free and non-operational environments. However, the existence of various sources of underwater noise has caused their effects on the quality of sound transmission to be unpredictable. In this paper, wavelet transform and independent component analysis (ICA) algorithm are used to remove the ambient noise of the dolphin whistle. In order to evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm, this algorithm was compared with the standard algorithms of FAstICA, JADE-OP, FJADE, Com2, JADE-TD and FPICA. The results show that the proposed method with a resolution of 0.8915 provides better performance than other standard algorithms.
