A rare case of stomach plasma cell granuloma in an adult
Plasma cell granuloma in adults are very rare, especially in the stomach. Plasma cell granuloma is a non-neoplastic sequence characterised by unsustainable growth of inflammatory cells. A lesion in the gingiva was first reported as plasma cell tumour 1968 [1]. Plasma cell granuloma of lungs was described by Bahadur and Liebow as inflammatory pseudotumor in 1973. Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor or inflammatory pseudotumor. Lung and upper respiratory tract are the most common site stomach is the rarest site of Plasma cell granuloma [2]. The progress for Plasma cell granuloma cannot be predicted because, not much data on etiology pathogenesis and treatment.
