Review of US foreign policy on regional security in West Asia (2001-2022)
After September 11, 2001, a new strategy emerged in the field of American foreign policy, which has somehow heralded a new era in the international system. During this period, American leaders and leaders got a good opportunity to use it to defend their interests. advance the strategic goals and shape the American hegemony, take the strategy of pre-emptive attack and preventive war. In this regard, America's interventionist foreign policy on countries such as Iraq, Syria and the occupied territories caused the security of these countries to fall under the component of foreign power. In this research, the US foreign policy in West Asia from 2001 to 2022 will be examined. And it seeks to answer the question, what effect has American foreign policy had on the security of the West Asian region, especially on Iraq, Syria, and the occupied territories? The findings of the research show that the emergence and existence of tension is one of America's policies for influence and intervention, and therefore the effect of this policy on Iraq, Syria and the occupied territories has been accompanied by insecurity.
