The effect of science and technology diplomacy on Iran's national power in the world arena

The present study aims to investigate the effect of science and technology diplomacy on Iran's national power in the world arena. In response to the question, what is the relationship between science and technology diplomacy and Iran's national power in the global arena with a network approach?, the hypothesis was raised that the production of science and the mobilization of science and technology diplomacy lead to an increase in smart power (hard power and soft this will lead to the increase of Iran's national power in the world arena. The research method is qualitative analysis in the framework of the network approach. With the victory of the Islamic revolution and in line with the institutionalization of power and institutions, various issues and ideas emerged with the efforts of researchers, thinkers and analysts. The field of diplomacy and its various forms, including the diplomacy of science and technology, were among the things that were noticed by the leadership and decision-making institutions in recent years. One of the ways to spread and influence the Islamic Revolution in other countries and increase Iran's national power is to use the achievements of science and technology diplomacy. In the field of science and technology diplomacy, Iran is at the beginning of the road and compared to the developed countries of the world, there are many ways to go.
