Pathology of urban livability in Tehran's suburban

Today one of the challenges facing urban management in Tehran's suburban is the rapid growth of peripheral settlements and spatial-physical expansion in these areas; So that it has created a kind of functional instability and complexity in these areas, and the continuation of this process affects the quality of urban livability in the suburban. Therefore, urban managers and urban planners can provide a strategy for its preservation and protection with the pathology of livability in suburban of Tehran metropolis. The purpose of this article is the pathology of urban livability in suburban of Tehran metropolis. Its method is descriptive-analytical and its nature is practical. PLS structural equations were used to analyze the findings. In this research, 5 components and 48 indicators were used. The research results show that all indicators have a significant relationship with each other. Also, social-cultural, service-infrastructural and environmental-ecological indicators have the most total effects and economic and management indicators have the least total effects in the pathology of the livability of Tehran's metropolis suburban. Also, service-infrastructure, social- cultural and management indicators have the highest structural performance and economic and environmental-ecological indicators have the lowest structural performance in the pathology of the livability of Tehran's metropolis suburban.
