The Proposed Conceptual Model to Respond to The Information Needsof Professionals: A Narrative Review
Purpose:
Models of information-seeking behavior describe, explain and predict changes inconceptual model to respond to the information needs of professionals
The research method was a narrative review. In order to identify the main models of information-seeking behavior, Case's point of view was used, according to his opinion, 7 models are known as the most cited models of information-seeking behavior. At the same time, the number of popular new models was also identified and analyzed. In addition, the knowledge and experience of the authors were also used in the identification of elements, relationships between elements, and the final design of the model.

This model starts with the factors that form information needs and ends with the end of the search and user satisfaction. The most features of this model is the integration of the field of information-seeking behavior with information retrieval, a processual and causal view of this field, attention to the context (cognitive, social, individual aspects, etc.) and the detailedness of its process
This model is a combination of high cited models of information seeking behavior and theoretical and practical issues of information retrieval, as well as the knowledge and experience of the authors.
