Analysis of the Imamate of the Prophets in the Quran; Approach Cognition and Dimensions Research

Teaching of Imamate is a subject that has been investigated and researched from various theological, jurisprudential, mystical and quranic aspects. In this regard, understanding the concept of "the Imamate of the prophets" from the perspective of the quran can be in some way that it is a basis for the teaching of Imamate particularly from the historical look. In spite of the abundant efforts of the shi'ite and sunni commentators to explain the position of the Imamate of prophet Ibrahim (AS) in verse 124 al - Baqara, we did not see a coherent and complete theory in this regard. In addition, the mucus of topics such as Imam semantics, necessaries of Imamate, Imam features and … has added on the flame of these conflicts. In regard to the importance and position of this discussion in Islamic thought, the present study has tried to present a new strategy by holistic examining the verses of the Imamate of prophets in addition to measure the opinions of the shi'ite and sunni commentators briefly in the field of "the semantics of the Imamate of the prophets" in critical-analytical method.
