Improbability in the Waiting and Mahdiism

Mahdiism and its teachings, in addition to the achievements and good results it has for Mahdavi believers, have faced problems and challenges based on some distortions and misunderstandings, including the challenge of improbability, which depends on various factors, such as "negativity about the role of man in the reappearance (of Imam Mahdi)", "Disappointment of human preparation and reformation for reappearance", "the reappearance relying on despair in the narratives" and "lack of awareness of the wisdom of delaying the reappearance ". In general, among Mahdavi believers, there are three attitudes of improbability, immediacy and moderation. Improbability itself is based on two negative attitudes of seeking deadline and delaying. In order to get out of this challenge and individual and social problem, it is necessary to promote an approximate and hopeful attitude, to make people optimistic about the reappearance and turn their despair into hope. In this study, the conceptual and analytical recognition of improbability, delaying and immediacy has been done with a descriptive and analytical method in order to reach the conclusion that these three attitudes are negative and the solution to deal with is to promote the attitude of moderation in the matter of reappearance
