Characteristics of Negative Mysticism Based on the Narrations of Ahl Al-Bayt (PBUH)
In the book of Sufism and Mystism, Mr. Vakili divides Sufism into positive and negative and states the twenty characteristics and differences between the two. However, considering the works of Sufi sheikhs, they assume their personal discovery and intuition as a criterion and measure, and if a rational argument is made to refute their findings, they do not accept it, and also do not adhere to a particular religion and instead believe in the theory of personal unity. In the interpretations of the Qur’an, the appearance of the word is considered irrelevant to the claimed meaning, and in this way, they do not shy away from slandering the jurists and orders contrary to the Shari’a, distancing themselves from the infallibles, exaggerating the dignity of individuals, and even using superficialities to advance their goals.
